Thank you note for baby shower host

Lets face it ladies and gentlemen, hosting and creating a baby shower is by no means an easy task because there are so many things to plan and to figure out.

You got your baby shower theme to choose, your color scheme to decide on, the invitations to create and send out and many more things that your host has to take care of.

You can clearly see that we have to make our host feel happy and appreciated for all the time he or she spent developing and creating our baby shower.

Our baby shower host will appreciate it!

There are many ways you can express “thank you” to someone. You could buy them a gift that conveys your feelings and emotions. You could invite them over for a special dinner and tell them how you feel.

You could even treat your host to a day of pampering and comfort at a day spa. These are all great ideas but they should take a back seat to the thank you note.

Yes, the thank you note comes first and you should put in a lot of effort and your feeling into writing it.

Here are some tips and techniques you can use to make your thank you note the best it can be:

  1. Start your letter with ‘Hi name’ and not ‘dear’ because if this person hosted your baby shower then he or she should be a close friend or relative. Don’t make this letter formal.
  2. Thank the host for hosting the baby shower.
  3. Write one sentence about the baby shower then write two more sentences on why you thought ‘that’ was great. This technique will give your letter a more sincere feel to it. Example: I really love the Winnie the pooh theme you created. I thought the little Tigger dolls around the diaper cake were the cutest thing. Its amazing how you got everyone singing the Winnie the pooh song at the end of the baby shower.
  4. Tell the host in the letter that you really appreciate and love the time and effort he or she put into your baby shower.
  5. Write something a bit off topic towards the end of the thank you letter. You can write about something that is happening in their lives or about their family members. Example: I hope you have a great time in Miami next week OR Give my best to Don and the kids.
  6. End the thank you note with “Love” and sign your full name at the bottom.

Some folks might find it difficult to write. They might feel that their thank you note is overly formal, badly written or insincere. Just follow the steps above and your thank you note will turn out great!

Write from the heart

Writing a thank you letter for your baby shower host doesn’t have to be overly complicated as long as you convey and express yourself from the heart. Remember that your baby shower host created an endearing memory for you that you will cherish forever.

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts below on how you would thank your baby shower host. Thank you and have a great day.
