Hosting a baby shower can be a wonderful experience to take part in. if you have a friend or family member who is just about ready to pop, you will want to come up with a great party for them.
If you know the gender of the baby, decoration is always going to be easier. If it’s a boy, typically people use a lot of blue balloons or streamers, pictures of trucks and animals, things like that.
For girls, it’s usually pink decorations, and things like dolls, princess items, and flowers. If you choose to do a neutral themed shower, yellow and green are always great colors to go with, as well as general baby themed items, like bottles and rattles.
Ready To Pop Game:
You will want to have a physical game for the guests, and one great baby shower game is called Baby Feet.
What you will want to do is buy about 10 to 12 pairs of baby socks that are all different colors or patterned. You do not want just plain white ones.
Then when you play this game, you will separate all the socks and mix them up in one big pile in the middle of the room.
Then, one at a time, have each guest pair up as many pairs of socks as they can in 15 seconds. Or you can time each guest to see how long it takes them to pair up all of the socks.
In the end, the one with the most matching pairs or the best time is the winner.
It is an easy game to prepare for, and one that doesn’t involve a lot of moving around.
Strawberry skewers for a tasty treat!
An easy food to prepare for you shower is a great little strawberry and shortcake skewer.
It’s perfect for a lunch party and is very easy to make. All you need is a box of strawberries and a pound of angel food cake that can be bought or made.
All you need to do is get a package of skewers and cut the cake into cubes. Then just alternate putting a halved strawberry and cake on the skewer until full.

These are just a few simple and easy ideas to do for the baby shower that you have to host. These are good enough to get you started, and you of course have to customize the party for the mommy to be.
