You have planned for the upcoming baby shower for months. You got everything in order and everything ready to go.
You got your baby shower invitations out, you have a theme ready, the games are all prepared and you know exactly what you are doing. Or do you?
Unbeknownst to you there is a potential threat to your baby shower and that my friends are the kids!
Plan For The Kids And Everybody Will Be Happy!
Now I am not saying you shouldn’t have children at your baby shower. On the contrary, I think kids have a youthful energy that they bring to the baby shower so they should definitely be there. However, what I am saying is you need to plan ahead for them and create things for them to do.
If children are left on there own they will want attention and they will play with whatever they find. They could potentially:
- Ruin your baby shower decorations
- Cry and yell throughout the baby shower
- Tear apart the diaper cake
- Open gifts for the expecting couple
You got to understand that the baby shower you created is visually appealing to all kids because you got all sorts of colorful decorations and a general party atmosphere they can appreciate.
No worries thou, all you need to do is:
- Have a kiddie table for them to eat at
- Keep gifts and diaper cakes out of reach
- Create little baby shower games for them to play
- Have toys for them to play with
- Have your guests bring their children’s toys with them
- Periodically tend to them and play with them
- Prepare kid friendly food
- Always smile and be patient with them
If you follow these simple rules then I am sure the children at your baby shower will behave and have a great time with everybody else.
I’d like to invite you all to share your thoughts and opinions about this subject in the comments section below, thanks. Take care and have a super fantastic day!
