I realize that many baby shower planners get overcome by paralysis by analysis.
They spend so much time pondering and thinking about the best possible baby shower favors that they fail to create or get anything done.
This can be problematic but fortunately there is a relatively simple solution. Here it is; let the theme of your baby shower dictate what you will incorporate onto your shower.
Let’s come up with a simple example – Your friend is having a boy and you decide to create a theme around the color blue. I know it’s not the most original idea but let’s use it for this example.
That being the case all of your baby shower favors should be blue or should have some amount of blue on them.
Cool favors for your baby shower
Here are some examples of traditional baby shower party favors:
- Little stuffed toys
- Cute little knitted mittens
- Bags of candies or cookies
- Cute stickers for your guests
- Baby shower theme bookmarks
- Little books of dessert recipes
- Cute mugs or cups
- etc..
The point is that favors for baby shower parties are a breeze if you can take traditional baby shower favors and modify them to fit your theme.
Back to my example, if I had a blue baby shower theme going on then I might have cute blue balloon stickers to give out to my guests.
Let’s say for example you had a monkey themed baby shower then you might want to give out Gerber baby banana flavored food to your guests (don’t worry they taste great).
Here’s another one; imagine that you’re having a Strawberry Shortcake baby shower theme then you might want to pass out little strawberry magnets to your guests.
The list goes on and on and your imagination has no limit – Just let the theme direct you into choosing and creating the ideal favors for the baby shower.
These ideas are easy to create!
By now you understand that it doesn’t take much to create the desired look and feel you want for your baby shower party.
The great thing is that a lot of these items and ideas can be bought at the dollar store or they can be bought online for cheap.
