Men are naturally picky. We usually find it hard to buy them gifts or accessories. The same thing goes for planning baby boy shower themes.
We should study their likes and dislikes before we can arrive to a specific theme for baby boys.
Baby shower decorations depend on these themes so careful planning and decision-making should be involved in the preparation stage of your baby shower. Remember, your baby shower only happens once so it should be perfect. This post will give you some tips and ideas for your little boy’s shower.
Baby Shower Decorations For The Boys – Pilots & Baseball Players
There are several themes that all the boys dig and enjoy. We can incorporate these themes into your baby shower. Below are just some of them.
- Sports – This is the all-time favorite theme for the guys. First, decide on a specific sport. Or if you want, you can use all of the sports together to create your own decorations. You can use plates painted as balls of your chosen sport. You can print out your table napkins and coasters like tickets for a ball game. You can add streamers, banners, mini trophies, jerseys and all other things related to sports. You can also display sports equipment such as bats, team logos, baseballs in one corner or scattered around the house.
- Work or profession – even before a child (or baby boy in this case) is born, parents sometimes preselect their child’s profession. Call it a form of wishful thinking. You can use your chosen profession as your baby shower theme.
You can decorate your party area with airplanes and clouds if you want your baby boy to become a pilot someday. You can print out airline tickets and decorate them in your place. You can even create an airplane-like ambiance at your party to provide an aviation feel to it. or if you want your child to become a doctor, you can create a hospital setting. Decorate your place with toy medical equipment and dress up like doctors and nurses.
baby shower decor are easy to create if you pick out your theme. That is the key to getting your party favors right. If I were you, I’d put on my thinking cap and start planning for my baby boy’s shower.
Good luck!
I did a shower last year and we did baby pics of both the parents hanging on a “clothesline” with clothespins and also hung up new onesies that they got to take home! they loved it and it was cute!! I got a pack of cute onesies at Target
