Baby shower invitations wording examples

In this post we are going to cover several wording examples. First of all, when it comes to writing , it requires some creativity.

Secondly, it’s difficult enough writing poetry and poems but it is even more difficult if you must write poems and poetry about one particular subject.

Not to worry ladies and gentlemen, I have several great baby shower wording ideas for you to use in this post.

Great wording examples to use

My happiness is coming can’t you hear,
You should hurry up and get over here,
My baby is coming cute and sweet,
It would be a pleasure for us to meet.

I think you know as much as I do,
The hidden gender of who is due,
A surprise for me as much as for you,
If the cake turns out pink or blue.

Won’t you come and sing a song,
Its your attention that we long,
Candied days and baby games await,
So don’t you dare stop and hesitate.

Blue sky’s on this sunshine day,
Sends my baby on his way,
If you hurry you will see,
What this child means to me.

Our baby draws near,
So let us all meet,
There is so much work here,
A busy heap,
We won’t serve beer here,
But there is much to eat.

Make your own invitations

We have already established that writing your own baby shower poem is difficult but perhaps there is a way to make it easier.

Maybe it would be easier if we could come up with an easy to follow formula to help us create and word these baby shower invitations. So I have devised for you a simple set of rules that you can follow to help you write and customize your baby shower invitation wording:

  • It should be four-lines consisting of four versus (Quatrain)
  • The last words of the first verse and the second verse should rhyme
  • The last words of the third verse and the fourth verse should rhyme
  • The themes should be baby related

On a side note, there are other ways to write poems ,as you can see from the examples above, but this ,in my opinion, is the easiest way.

If you take the rules that I mentioned here and look around on the Internet for other poems that have nothing to do with baby showers then I am sure you will be able to customize them and personalize them for your baby shower needs in no time.

It’s going to take a little practice but I am sure you can do it!

Just sit down in a quiet room with a notepad and a pencil and start jotting down ideas and let your imagination flow freely.

Try, try, again

I hope that the invitation examples that I provided here will help you in creating the best invitation card you can write.

If the ideas that I provided here don’t fit the theme that you are going for, then I recommend you try creating one yourself by using the rules I mentioned above and by looking at other sites with quatrain poems on them.

Don’t forget to add all of the information about your baby shower (Host, location, address etc..) at the bottom of your quatrain. Sometimes people forget to do that ;-)

If any of you have other recommendations and ideas about baby shower invitation wording then please share them in the comments section below. All of your thoughts and opinions are welcomed here.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy creating these baby shower invites.
