I know that you want to throw the best and most memorable baby shower. But how will that be possible if you only play the same old games?
There are so many baby shower game ideas that I can barely remember every single one of them. If you want to throw an unforgettable party, come up with games that are silly yet entertaining.
Game Ideas That Are Fun and Unique
Put on your thinking cap and start creating goofy baby shower games. If you got that “eureka” moment, write down your games. But if you have not thought of anything yet, you can grab some of these ideas below.
- Sculpt-A-Baby – hand out clay or Play-Doh to each of your guests. Make sure that the guests each have different color play-doh. Allow only five minutes for them to make their babies out of the clay. Have the expecting mom judge the creations of the guests. You can have more than one winner. For instance, you can give first place for the best clay baby and second place for the most disturbing. This game is great for commencing any baby shower.
- Soiled yet Scrumptious Diapers – before the shower starts, buy and melt assorted chocolates. Spread the melted chocolates to different diapers. Number the diapers and list the chocolate’s name smeared into each one of them. During the game, ask each of your guests to smell and solve which bar stained the diaper. Have the guest write down their guesses. The person with the highest score wins the game.
- Nipple bobbing – this is a twist to the time-honored bobbing for apples. Feeding bottle nipples are used instead of apples, have them float in the tub. You can have two tubs so more participants can race. Or better yet, you can time the participants as they get their nipples. The person with the most nipples in a certain amount of time wins. I suggest that you let the guys play this game first.
- Pacifier Spitfest – have your willing participants form a line. Hand out pacifiers to each of these participants. Let them put the pacifier in their mouths and spit them out. The person who spits the pacifier the farthest wins this game.
- Daddy and Mommy Trivia – this game will determine which of the guest knows the expecting couple best. Ask the guest questions and let them write down the answers. You can ask questions such as “When is the baby’s due date?” , “Where did they go for their honeymoon?”, “How old were the couple when they got married? ”, “What high school did the mom go to?”, “What is the dad’s favorite color?” and more. When they are done, have the couple answer the question. The person with the most number of correct answers wins.
- Dress the Baby – this is a common baby shower game but with a twist. Dress up your baby doll with a diaper, shirt, shorts, socks, pants, and shoes. Instead of just one person dressing up the baby, pair up your guests. Have the pair stand next to each other. Here’s the twist. Let one person use their left hand, while the other team member uses their right hand. Now, isn’t this challenging?
With these funny and cute games, I am sure that your party will be a blast. If you want more games, feel free to look around this site. Share this post on Facebook or tweeter if you liked it.
