Baby Shower Analysis And Video

In today’s post I want to share with you a great little video that can give you a sneak peek on what a baby shower should look like. In this video we get to watch Gabe’s and Jessica’s baby shower.

The video opens up with different shots of the baby shower including:

  • the invitation
  • the food display
  • the baby shower cake
  • the decorations
  • the party space (before guests arrive)
  • the prize table
  • the diaper cake (centerpiece)
  • “Who will the baby look like” game

After we go through these individual shots we get to see the great atmosphere and ambiance that Jessica and Gabe created for their baby shower.

If you notice closely, their baby shower wasn’t formal and it didn’t have a central theme ,yet it maintained a fun and enjoyable environment for all of the guests.

Easy to do baby shower games

They had three pretty cool baby shower games at their party.

First, the guys played a soda drinking  game were they had to chug soda out of cute little multicolored bottles. The second game consisted of the gals tying their shoelaces with inflated balloons under their blouses.

And finally, they repeated the balloon and shoelace game but with the guys.

The first person to accomplish each task was the winner.

These games seem fun and exciting and notice that everyone didn’t have to play, only some of the guests actually participated.

This is a great idea because it lets others mingle and socialize while the games are taking place.

Great example of a baby shower!

Finally, the video ends with the expecting couple opening up baby shower gifts to some funny background music. All in all, this is a great example of an informal well-thought-out baby shower.

Thank you Jessica and Gabe for this great video. If any of you would like to leave your opinions and thoughts, please type them in the comments section below.

All of your ideas are always welcomed and appreciated here. Thank you and take care everybody.
