4 Fun Baby Shower Games

When it comes to baby shower games, there are many options. Some baby shower games use simple objects found around the home, while other games can be purchased pre-assembled for your baby shower party.

The following are a few fun and easy games you can put together for your event.

Enjoy These Fun Baby Shower Games!

1. Messy Diapers
For this game, you will need five disposable diapers, five different mini candy bars, paper, a marker and pens. Label the outside of each diaper with a number, one through five.

Place one unwrapped mini candy bar in each opened disposable diaper. Create a list for yourself of which candy bar is in which diaper as you go. Close the disposable diaper and place in microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, or until the candy bar has melted.

Mix the melted candy bar around, if needed.

Guests will each get a piece of paper and a pen. When starting the game, you can tell the guests you are using candy bars or you can tell them the candy bars used and allow them to guess which bar is in which diaper. How much you tell them is completely up to you.

Pass the diapers around and have the guests guess what is in each diaper. They can look, feel, smell and taste the “mess” inside in order to make each guess. Once every guest has seen every diaper, reveal the answers. The guest with the most correct answers wins.

2. The Price is Right
For this game, you will need some new baby items that the guest of honor can take home, paper, pens, tape and small cards with small envelopes like those used by florists. On each card write down the actual price of the baby item.

Seal it in the envelope and tape it to the item. Guests then write down their guess for the price of each item. The guest with the most correct (or close) guesses wins.

3. Baby Draw
For this game you need pencils and paper plates. Each guest places a paper plate on their own head and uses the pencil to draw a baby, without lifting the pencil off the plate. The guest of honor selects the winner.

4. Birth Time
For this game you need ice cube trays, small plastic babies, water, cups, paper and pencils. Freeze the babies in the ice cube trays with water.

Each guest gets a cup of water with one ice cube baby in it. The guest who guesses the time closest to when their own baby is ‘born’ (unfrozen from the melted ice cube) is the winner.

Easy, Fun, & Exciting? You Got It!

These games are super easy to set up but most importantly they will provide you and your guests hours of great fun and excitement! You are more than welcome to edit or change certain aspects of these games in order for them to fit your over-all baby shower theme or your specific preferences.

I’m serious when I say that you are going to have a ‘hoot’ of a time playing these games! Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below. We always love to hear from you.
